SUSTAINABILITY TO
THE CORE
Sustainability is not just what we do at PHNX Hamburg, it is who we are. It’s at the core of our culture, vision, values and brand. Sustainability is visible everywhere, from our architecture and the food and drinks we serve to the experiences we curate for guests and the causes we support as a community.

Global impact
By staying at PHNX you’re supporting organisations contributing to a more just, sustainable world. You can join these efforts as a volunteer too. Do you have an organisation you think our community should support? Tell us about it!
Planting trees
Your stay at PHNX directly supports Plant for the Planet, a global movement with an ambitious goal: to fight the climate crisis by planting trees around the world. Today, more than 13.6 billion new trees have been planted as a part of the Billion Tree Campaign supported by the United Nations.
We donate one tree for every month you stay with us. Hence your stay at PHNX makes a direct impact on the environment.
We are solidary with the Hamburg community so we work closely together with Hanseatic Help, who supplies free clothing and other everyday items to refugees and homeless people.
You can support their initiatives too through :(1) Your time to help out hands on, (2) donating items you no longer need, (3) cash donation
